FIAS-FP is an international mobility programme that offers high-level scientific residencies in the seven IAS of Aix-Marseille, Cergy, Loire Valley (Orléans-Tours), Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes, and Paris. The standard duration of the residential fellowship is of 10 months over an academic year i.e. from September through June.

The FIAS Fellowship Programme supports high-quality innovative research as resident fellows conduct their project with the greatest academic freedom and benefit from the stimulating scientific and extra-academic support provided by the host institutes.

Initiated in 2020, the FIAS Fellowship Programme will now run until the 2029-2030 academic year. During the past four calls for applications (2021-2025), 120 fellowships were granted to experienced researchers from all fields of social sciences and the humanities and other research fields at the inferface with these sciences.

This project is now receiving funding from the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme of the European Union under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA COFUND).

The FIAS Fellowship Programme benefits from national cofunding via France 2030.
